hurhurs. talk about yest night. was listening to 958 cos nick hosting. and fook it. programme start at 10.15pm but no one call in till 10.45pm. so for that 30mins, shen lian was pratically the only one talking. listen till i wanna zZz arhs. thk to a uncle who call in at 10.45pm (1st call), finally nick talk and i actually cry upon hearing his voice. so damm *paiseh* can. lucky at that time, my sis haven came into the room. haha!

yest was perfect 10 2nd gathering. two words, SIMPLY FUN. =]]

Perfect 10 meet up at 1pm at bedok mrt station. went over to central for lunch aftermath. had kfc. and everyone had Shrooms Burger. it's lye so united cos we nv 'pak gai' say eat the something de, it's lye 'bu yue he dong' haha.

took bus to amelia`amanda hse. waited v long for the bus at interchange. even the bus ride v long. tot few stop jiu reach le. LOL. but had fun laughing throughout. yeapp. finally reach le but still nid to walk in. so walk walk in. den see their hse le all of us chiong in. haha.

and their hse ish really really big lorhs. OMG. all of us wow here wow there. haha. *envy* kk. reach den slack ard. haha. den took lotsa picture. we came up with lotsa crazy maddie funny pose. 'qiwen earpiece' pose where get 10 ear piece. wear it and tie a knot at the neck. den 'eye for the guy/boy' pose. den sleep on the floor and take picture. before that of cos moving the sofa here and there. den still got take picture from the staircase.. etc just soooooooo fun lorhs. laugh lye mad esp the june and storeroom thingy. ish really ROFL.

watch champion disc 4 also. cos got qw. once we spotted her all LMAO. den spotted peiling too. haha. can't recongize her though. lucky bino told us =D watch NFK show aftermath. laugh a lot too. hate that dot dot dot da shi. talk soooooo much. den the finale, laugh over vincent *ahem*. that part ish really ROFL. laugh till got tears arhs. muahahha.

after watching the NFK tape, still continue taking picture and stuff. den awhile ltr their mama come home so all went up to amanda`amelia room. haha. chit chat. talk abt changing perfect 10 name and stuff cos hl always nv come.. but end up ideas here and there still used back perfect 10 cos v she bu de the name. intially use perfect 10 cos got 10 of us but now only the 9 of us so the meaning become.. 九个人一条心, 9 of us got nine heart mah.. so 9 of us the heart put tgt will form a big heart.. den 9 small heart + 1 big heart = 10 heart... LOL. wadever it's perfect ten jus rawks to the max lorhs.

after that call i-weekly. haha. den yeapp left their hse ard 6.15 =) charmaine and i took cabbie home while e rest took bus to interchange. really enjoy myself with them much. hope to see them soon!!

my thoughts. somehow i feel that i v fortunate to have diff grps of friends that i can click and get along well with. i'm someone who can't and i mean really CAN'T live w/o friends by my side. 1st i met o6o9, my sec sch classmate to wad we are now, 2nd i met vivacious girls, loving vanness and fate bring us tgt. 3rd i met perfect 10, supporting mcs make me know them =D again fate bring us tgt. other than this 3 grps of friends, there are still few indivual of friend whom i treasure, regardless they're from sps, cvss, dance troupe..etc love all my friends lots esp the 3 grp i mention above =)

finally went to school =\ after 4 days of skipping school. haha. 8am lesson but i reach ard 9.15am. late with edward`richmond. haha. well well. project and more project. i'm soooo lucky that zhiwei already pick me to be in their grp during my absence in school. thanks dude! actually over lunch break.. while having our lunch, when i heard that zhiwei had pick me in their grp i quite touch larhs. haha. im quite emotional. its like i nv go to school but they nv left me out and push me to christine grp. and den there ish edward, who nv fail to accompany me. joseph who update me abt school. den weehuat somehow always make me laugh even though lye to disturb me =_=.

wanna thanks god. thanks god for giving me a chance to meet my friend i had now in this life =D

Groupie Alert - Are you going too far as a fan?

Our idol. Singers, actors, host, DJs… they’re bigger than life figures who fascinate us. We want to know their deepest darkest secrets, find out all about their personal details. Or even better, we’d love to meet them, to become an acquaintance or friend. Or there’s the ultimate – to become their boy or girlfriend. And thus, the groupie in a person emerges…

What’s a groupie?

You’ve probably heard this phrase being thrown around, but what does “groupie” actually mean? Well, our definition of what a groupie is, is “someone” (usually young and female) who follows a celebrity around when they’re on tours”.

What does a groupie do?

Here’s a list of the responsibilities of a good groupie when his/her favorite artiste NOT in town…

- You have memorized a detailed biography of their personal information, including how many siblings they have, who their ex-girlfriends are, which primary school they studied at, and the name of their pet hamster! [[absolutely true for bbv. vann have 2 elder sis (one of them call wendy), 1 one sis and 1 younger bro (geoffery).]]

- You have pictures of them plastered everywhere around you. Your room is basically a “shrine” to your favorite artiste, with posters on the wall, CDs playing on the stereo, the wallpaper on your computer and your phone. Oh, not to mention those picture in your wallet – even your girlfriend or boyfriend doesn’t get as big a picture space in your wallet as they do. [[absolutely true too. my bedroom wall ish plastered with bbv and f4 poster. currently sharing pc with my bro cos my own pc break down so wallpaper cannot put f4 de =( den my phone, yes, set bbv photo as wallpaper.]]

- You know al the latest news/rumors about them, and have your own analysis about whether each piece of information is true. [[true. thanks to onlyf4 for all the articles. and yeah after reading them i always analysis with friend which one ish true or false, talk abt kpo =p]]

- All you listen to is their album(s), and you own the original (and non-parallel imported) version of every CD they sing on, whether it’s a single, full album or soundtrack. And you truly believe that they’re the best singer/dancer on this earth, no matter how many people around you thank that they are terrible. [[*nod* in agreement. all f4 stuff that i've ish orginal de. i didn't get peach girl cos i can't find the orginal wan ='(]]

- You get personally offended when someone insults or says something bad about them, and feel obliged to defend them. [[they can insult me, but not them =)]]

- If possible, you’re friends (or at least on talking terms) with the promotion executives working in the record company the artiste is under. [[my friend ish, not mie]]

Groupies get even busier when their favorite artiste comes to town. Even before they arrive, groupies scramble to get fellow groupie together to “book” taxis and mini vans to follow the artistes for however long they’re here. [[totally agree. LOL. maxi cab, uncle here and there.]]

Here are some extra groupie behavioral phenomena…

- You know the whole schedule of the artiste you’re “chasing”, down to the minute. And by the whole schedule, we mean what they’re doing from the airport, every official (and non-official) activity they’re attending, to what flight they are leaving on. [[duh. i dun chase 24/7 though. vv usually chase from airport to hotel and that's it. but for xiaomei, we even chase for dinner =\]]

- You’ve got the biggest and brightest “welcome” banner at the airport. [[vv banner ish yellow!]]

- You’ve enlisted the help of friends/relatives/partners to stake out the best places at any/all of their events, while you’re busy chasing them around the island. If you’re part of a fan club of some sort, you’ve all got a “roster” so that everyone takes turns to be in the queue. [[muahaha. totally agree. we queue in advance and that's when a timbtable for queuing ish up. and before the day the guys arrived in sg, we will be busy calling ppl to plead them to stand in for us in the q while we go chasing.]]

And nowadays, it’s not just the kids who’re involved. The “aunties killer” of the entertainment industry (mostly Korean actors and such) has galvanized 40 and 50-year-old ladies into groupie action as well. And because these individuals are usually independent and have more freedom with their time and finances, they sometimes go to the extent of flying abroad to support their idol. [[i also wan to go abroad to see!]]

Going overboard? [[no, i dun think so]]

Parents are usually the first people to object when their children start becoming groupies, and sometimes they have good reason to. I mean, which parent wouldn’t be worried when their kid becomes seemingly obsessed with something. Much as most parents would probably close on eyes to their kids’ activities as long as they’re not detrimental or harmful, the problem boils over if and when a “love” for the artiste affects things like family life and examination results.

And this is the last of the worries of parental units. Those who stay out overnight just to queue to get into the mosh pit at concerts, or to be first in line at autograph sessions can give their folks sleepless nights. Parents worry about their children’s safety, whether they’re too cold staying in the open, and more.

Is it bad? [[no, i dun think so, it's better than we club, smoke, or in d bad company or do illegal stuff.]]

We’re not saying that liking a particular artiste’s music, or even the artiste him or herself is bad. We’re just saying that there should be limits to what you do. And even the artistes know this. That’s why some groups have rules about fans queuing for event, like S.H.E, who has a standing rule about fans not queuing overnight for their events, a rule that most fans abide by, just to make their idol happy.

There are also may ways you can support your idols that would probably mean more to them than having you spend endless days and nights worrying your parent s by sitting in queues. Some more common ideas are to…

- Buy their official album instead of a parallel import or downloading it. [[i do buy their official album and product]]

- Donate money to charity in your idols’ names instead of buying nonsensical items that your idol probably has 214 9685 pieces of already. You might be spending money, but at least you’re doing something good while spending it. [[f4 fans always doing donation drive]]

- Get together with your pals who’re also fans to put together a tribute project. This could mean wallpapers, picture collages, scrapbooks, or even homemade music videos to show your appreciation for the hard work they’ve put in to entertain you.

And if you’re facing parental objection your fondness of a particular artist, think about why your parent are rioting. Are you really going overboard with your obsession for your idol? Has your behavior or personality changed radically from the past, and is the change linked to your love for your idol? If the answer to the above question are, “yes”, then its no surprise your folks are throwing a hissy fit.

So how do you get them to “approve” of your behavior? Think about this – instead of dropping grades and skipping school, work harder to gain your parents’ support. Show them that your love for your idol is what’s motivating you to do better. With the improvement in your behavior and understanding the reason behind the changes, your parents might actually end up approving of the artiste instead! Bottom Line

Liking an artiste and being a fan is normal – we all have our dreams at one point or another. But the most important thing is to be able to return to reality and remember that there are more important things than idols and entertainment. With the fickle minds of consumers nowadays, you never know how long an artiste can remain in favor. Wasting your life or missing great opportunities for someone who’s a total stranger is not worth the hassle, or the long-term consequences that might occur. Focus on what’s important in your life right now, and work hard at what you have to. Who knows, if you’re “good”, your dream might just come true one day! [[abit true for this paragraph larhs but i'm still young, i stil have the energy and time to do all this stuff and i'm enjoying so why stop it right? and it's like we are YOUNG only once. old le, where still gt that much energy to chase idol ard town.]]

BG saw us. called us wrong name. called me charmaine and meiling =_= call amanda panda. ROFL. den blah. event end. took train to yck. mahjong session ard 1 plus.

suppose to meet meiling at 5pm at bedok station. end up, we drag and drag den meet ard 5 plus to 6. took cab down to her hse den we cabbie down to suntec. went hunting for nick pressie. from suntec to milleimun walk to marina square. lol. bought 'xiang xiang' de candle and famous amos cookie. pathetic dinner for us on that day. lol. blah. den take train to bedok with meiling den cabbie home =)

ii miss him. miss him loads. 8 days to seeing him again and i can't wait.

countdown TWO days to nick event!!

YAY! done with nick board :) so happy. first tym i do it by myself. feel a sense of achievement though. charmaine did one and i did one. from ard 12am we did till 5.30am. although not v nice larhs but this ish the first tym i did it on my own and i think nt bad larhs. still can improve. hurhurs~! but but i still prefer the board i did (with ap na help) for chris. then again i still love my nick board. =p

countdown 12 days to debut of 'You Fu' 16 days to cheek 2 cheek w/ nick event. den finally saw the chris you fu trailer!! the one he counting star de. sooo cute!! =x

may 31st ~ went for top fun 8 recording tgt with ahger, bino, charmaine, june, meiling + peiling etc. sit till my butt sooo pain can. waited for lye 2 hrs. and they record the 1hr show for 2hrs. =_= no break in btw. but overall the show pretty funny. jack neo & the zhen hong laughter so dot dot. make me and peiling there ROFL. yay yay. mark lee soo humorous de. yuup. finally the show end at 5.40pm. ran all e way out to radiogate. stay there for lye 10mins. and head back home aftermath.

may 30th ~ tgt with charmaine, meet up with amanda, ameilia, dawn and meiling. to tm to buy plain wristband. end up bought 2 from tm the 77st and den to hereen and bugis to collect the rest of the wristband. heh. lye travelling ard singa lye that. tm den bugis den hereen then to sun shin plaze. somewhere near bencoolen st. yuup. to print our wristband. ard 5 plus. part with them and accompany charmaine back to her hse to pack her bag. took cab back to my hse aftermath. pretty tiring day. and ameilia i dun lye chatterbox too =P

finished dl-ing and watching the news clip of jerry new show press conference. seem lye a nice show. looking forward though! jerry will be acting as a doctor. and zai best wishes flower for the show press conference soooo cute! still zhan shen zai. and bbv send flower too. jerry fans ish lye woah! haha. sooooo many of them send flower to the press conference. *boohoo* no much news of bbv this day. miss him!!
